Severns Civil, LLC (SC) is a Florida-based, women-owned DBE, certified through the Unified Certification Program with Florida DOT. We are also a certified DBE in Delaware and Tennessee. We focus on transportation and marine infrastructure asset management.  Services include independent technical reviews (ITRs) of bridge inspection reports for topside and underwater. We also provide technical writing and research on transportation topics, bridges and structures topics, underwater marine investigation topics, and overall infrastructure asset management planning.  We also offer underwater structures research services including remote scanning technologies such as underwater acoustic imaging and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) investigations. Our Kongsberg Mesotech acoustic imaging equipment is available for rent, or we can provide full service imaging and training.

Project Highlights

Severns Civil, LLC currently partners with underwater inspection firms such as Stantec and KCI Technologies to provide acoustic imaging equipment. This equipment provides enhanced inspection findings in low visibility and improves safety for divers. Severn Civil staff include experts in the field of underwater and top-side remote sensing technologies.
